Product Description
- Nervamine® is the trade name of Mecobalamin, a naturally occurring vitamin B12 substance, used in the treatment of peripheral neuropathies.
Therapeutic Indications
- Nervamine® is indicated in cases of vitamin B12 deficiency
Method of Administration
- One Nervamine® tablet three times daily. Dosage may be adjusted according to the patient’s age and clinical response.
Storage Conditions
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
- Nervamine® tablets: Store below 30ºC in a dry place.
- Protect from moisture and light.
Drug-Drug interactions
- No Drug-Drug interaction
Side effects
- Mecobalamin is well tolerated. Only rarely do gastrointestinal symptoms such as anorexia, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea occur. Skin rash may also rarely occur.
Contraindications
- Mecobalamin is contraindicated in patients with sensitivity to the drug, to cobalt, or to other vitamin B12 substances, including cyanocobalamin and hydroxocobalamin.
