Product Description:

How to use:

• Take one sachet dissolved in water daily, preferably during breakfast.
• In order to improve solubility, please proceed as it follows: First pour 100 ml of water into a glass and then empty the sachet content and mix.
• Secondly, add up water up to 150 ml and stir for a few minutes.
• Due to the nature of the ingredients, particles may appear on the surface of the mix.

Ingredients:

Hydrolized collagen (HC)

• is the main component of COLNATUR Actigen. There is scientific evidence about benefits of daily oral supplementation with 10 g of HC on joint health: Improvement in knee joint comfort in osteoarthritis1 Improvement in joint pain at rest, walking, standing, carrying objects, lifting in athlete joint pain2 Pain intensity reduction in knee osteoarthritis3 . Hyaluronic acid (HA): Various clinical studies have shown moderate efficacy of oral HA treatments in reducing pain and improving knee functionality, with no side effects. Dosages of HA in different trials range from 25 to 300mg and usually oral supplements with HA are enriched with other compounds such as collagen or vitamins4 .

Turmeric (Curcuma Longa L.):

• The active principle of turmeric, curcumin, has shown antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. For this reason, curcumin is a potential treatment for osteoarthritis. Many clinical trials conducted to determine the effectiveness of curcumin in osteoarthritic patients, have revealed that curcumin could reduce pain and improve the functionality of the patients and were similar to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs5 . The extracts of Curcuma used in these studies give a dosage of curcumin ranged from 180 mg to 2,000 mg daily and the treatment period ranged from 4 weeks to 8 months6 .

Boswelia (Boswelia Serrata):

• The oleo-gum-resin from B. serrata contains boswelic acids (pentacyclic triterpenic acids.) which possess anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic, anti-rheumatic activities 7
